
As founder of CB|Two, Garth has over 25 years of design and project management experience. This includes over 250 projects throughout the United States and Canada, resulting in his current license to practice architecture in 41 states. In addition to his design knowledge, Garth is experienced in land-use planning and approvals related to the development process. As creative leader of CB|Two, Garth makes a concerted effort to be involved in virtually every project at the firm; where he stresses design integrity, project efficiency and client profitability. His recent work on the Kroc Community Center and WaterPlace are examples of putting his principles into practice. Garth is a graduate of University of Oregon, with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Dan has an extensive background in commercial construction ranging from contract negotiation to construction financing and management. His prior experience as a CPA specializing in the construction field ensures oversight of work quality and budget line items throughout each project. Dan has been instrumental in developing CB|Two's unique 'architect-led design build' approach which adds-value for the client/developer whether CB|Two is engaged as general contractor or not. Dan graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Business (BA).
Chris has over 18 years of experience in the commercial design field, working on both large public and private projects, with an emphasis in Health Care. Among other projects, Chris has worked for the last decade in a General Services capacity for Salem Hospital. Other notable projects include: The Salvation Army Kroc Center, Salem Alliance Broadway Building and Willamette Sleep Center. Chris works on projects from programming and preliminary design through construction administration, utilizing his knowledge of code compliance and jurisdictional regulatory requirements to facilitate a smooth permitting process. Chris received a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Kansas, and is licensed as an Architect in Oregon.
Gordon received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture from Oregon State University and is a licensed Landscape Architect in California. Gordon works with the team during the planning and construction phases for technical oversight, estimating and value engineering planning. He has worked on many local and community projects such as Salmon Run, Salem Cardiology, Family Building Blocks, Riverfront Carousel, and the Elsinore to name a few. In addition he has been involved in a multitude of senior and residential projects throughout the western United States. He brings creative problem solving to the planning and construction phases, and Gordon’s input provides the maximum value to every project.
Greg received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1992 and has more than 15 years experience in design and construction administration. Project types include Health Care, Schools, Senior Housing and Senior Campuses. Prior to joining CB|Two in 2007, he was the design lead and the construction administrator for Mountain West Senior Housing, a northwest provider for senior living. Greg has been involved in the development of more than 48 senior housing facilities throughout the western United States.
Kirk Sund graduated from the University of Oregon in 2004 with a Bachelor of Architecture. Kirk has worked on a variety of projects ranging from Senior Housing to Commercial Office and Churches. He most recently completed the Construction Administration on the Salvation Army Kroc Corps Community Center. Kirk brings strong project management skills to each project.
Aaron graduated with his bachelor’s in design from the University of Nebraska in 2003 and his masters of architecture in 2005. He worked for several different architects while in college and also worked for an architectural rendering artist in Lincoln. He also played football while at Nebraska and was a three-time Academic All-Big XII selection.
Aaron specializes in exploring design solutions in the beginning stages of a project. He focuses on translating clients ideals into a clear aesthetic vision. He will also stay intimately involved with clients through the completion of that vision. He is currently involved with Waterplace, Mid-Valley IPA Office Building, and the Salem Alliance Broadway Project.
